100 Black Men of Atlanta Hosts 2nd Annual Gala Benefiting Project Success
The 100 Black Men of Atlanta will host its second annual 100 Honors Gala on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Omni Atlanta Hotel, honoring some of Atlanta's most notable luminaries. 39th U.S. President Jimmy Carter will be honored with the Andrew Young Lifetime Achievement Award. NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins will receive the Nathaniel R. Goldston, III Trailblazer Award. Donata Russell Ross, H. Jerome Russell, Jr. and Michael B. Russell will receive the Maynard Jackson Community Impact Award. Georgia Power President, C.E.O. and Chairman Paul Bowers will be honored with the Chairman's Circle Corporate Responsibility Award. Gathering Spot Founder's Ryan Wilson and T.K. Petersen are being honored with the John Lewis Emerging Leader Award. New York Stock Exchange Equity Trader and Author Lauren Simmons will receive the Next Gen Emerging Leader Award.
The ceremony will be hosted by WSB-TV Anchors Loris Wilson and Fred Blankenship. The Honorary Co-Chairs are Southwest Airlines Community Outreach Manager of National Relationships Quinnie Jenkins, Mary Parker Foundation President & C.E.O. Mary Parker, Former NFL Quarterback & Heisman Trophy Winner Danny Wuerffel. Proceeds from the 100 Honors Gala will benefit Project Success. Hundreds of distinguished guests are expected for the sold-out black-tie extravaganza.

Programs are designed to improve or develop student capabilities, resulting in graduation from high school and acceptance into a post-secondary institution.
